Job Purpose

To protect, monitor and maintain stock/storage vehicles across all brands in flawless condition by complying with a set operating procedures and manufacturers standards.

Accountabilities

Vehicle Maintenance

Keep vehicles in proper condition, during storage period to prevent additional repairs (costs) before delivering to customers.

Ensure paint, sealing and other outside applications of vehicle will be protected with corresponding material (liquid masking).

ensure correct usage of electrical checking devices example:- multi-meter, hydrometer, battery tester & battery charger.

Timely Reporting

Report any damages or abnormal matters to responsible team leader from the Logistic Department

Turn Around Time

Develop working area and workflow processes in an efficient way to reduce time consumption per vehicle.

Personal Development

Maintain and develop own skills and technical knowledge, agree a development plan with line manager.

Arrange an annual appraisal with your line manager in accordance with the company’s appraisal process.

Attend regular staff meetings, using them as a basis for the communication of any ideas for improvement in processes or cost savings.

·         Condition of vehicles being dispatched to various destinations for delivery.

·         Response time to deliver stored/stocked vehicles at required destination

Education/Qualification, Skills, Competencies and Experience

a.          Education/Qualification

·        Automotive diploma/certificate or Degree

b.                         Experience (experience required for the job)

• PDI experience and basic vehicle maintenance experience (preferred)
• Technical experience with general know-how of car repairs and maintenance (Mechanical and electrical)

c.                         Skills (general job knowledge & skills)

• Basic electrical knowledge
• knowledge about vehicle electrical systems operation (A/C systems, Alarm systems)
• knowledge on new models for changes in battery/electrical storage techniques
